Whole Terrain wins recognition for design

BRATTLEBORO — Four area area businesses were recognized in the 2010 New England Regional Awards of Excellence Competition, presented by the Printing Industries of New England.

Two second-place Awards of Recognition were presented for The Whole Terrain soft-cover book for Antioch University New England in Keene, and the “Boston Warehouse Trading Corporation” catalog for Silver Direct of Marlborough.
A third-place Award of Merit was earned for the “Raise Your Game” Mount Snow Golf School brochure for The Communicators Group in Keene.

All were printed by Howard Printing Inc. of Brattleboro, which also won two second-place Awards of Recognition for the “You > 36% of Bennington” brochure for Bennington College and the On Campus newsletter for Williams College in Williamstown, Mass.; and a third-place “Award of Merit” for the “Met Opera HD Live” invitation/program postcard for The Sterling & Francine Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, Mass.

The Antioch University New England book was edited by alumnus Peter Davenport and designed by the university’s graphic designer, Laurie Webster.
